As a little girl, Melanie was always watched over by her grandparents even when she was staying at her own house. She loved to hear them sing every day. They would always be singing, and she would dance to their singing. Her face just lit up every time she heard her grandmother and grandfather sing. That’s the memory that’s her greatest memory: her grandparents singing and her dancing.
